At Renewed Reliance, we stand behind the quality of our products. That’s why we provide a 2-year warranty on all refurbished devices. If your device unexpectedly stops working properly within the warranty period, our team will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Our goal is simple: you should feel confident buying from Renewed Reliance.
2-Year Warranty on Refurbished Devices
All refurbished devices sold by Renewed Reliance come with a 2-year warranty unless stated otherwise on the product page.
This warranty covers technical defects that occur during normal use.
If a defect occurs during the warranty period, we will:
Repair the device, or
Replace the device, or
Provide an appropriate solution depending on the situation.
Legal Warranty
In addition to our commercial warranty, all products sold by Renewed Reliance are covered by legal warranty under European consumer law.
Legal warranty means that a product must:
Be in good condition at delivery
Function as reasonably expected
Match the product description
This legal protection applies regardless of any additional warranty offered by us.
Battery Warranty
Because batteries naturally degrade over time, different warranty terms apply to batteries.
Battery coverage includes:
1 year battery warranty
Minimum 85% battery capacity at delivery
Minimum 70% of original capacity at the end of the battery warranty period
If a battery issue occurs outside the warranty period, we may still be able to replace the battery for a reasonable service fee.
What Is Covered by Warranty
Our warranty typically covers technical defects that occur during normal use, such as:
hardware malfunctions
unexpected device failure
internal component defects
faults that prevent normal operation
If a defect occurs, our support team will guide you through the next steps.
What Is Not Covered
Warranty does not apply to damage caused by:
Accidental drops or impact
Liquid or water damage
Misuse or improper handling
Unauthorized repairs or modifications
Use of incompatible accessories
Normal cosmetic wear
Damage caused by external factors
If a device is repaired by a third party without our authorization, the warranty may be void.
No Defect Found
If a device is returned for inspection and no defect is found, we may charge a diagnostic and handling fee of €40.
This fee helps cover inspection and processing costs.
The fee must be paid before the device is returned to the customer or may be deducted from any applicable refund.
Returning a Device for Warranty Service
Before returning your device, please follow these steps:
Back up your data
Reset the device to factory settings
Remove personal accounts (such as Apple ID or Google account)
If resetting the device is not possible, please provide your access code or unlock information on the return form.
Renewed Reliance is not responsible for data loss, so we strongly recommend backing up your data before returning the device.
