VAT and Margin Products
At Forza Refurbished, there are two types of products with different VAT treatments: VAT products and margin products.
Why Choose Refurbished?
VAT Products
These refurbished products are sold including VAT.
For business customers, this is an attractive option because the VAT can often be reclaimed, allowing companies to save even more on their purchase.
Margin Products
These refurbished products are sold under the margin scheme, meaning no VAT is charged separately on the product.
Because of this, the purchase price is often lower, making margin products particularly attractive for private consumers who cannot reclaim VAT.
Home Copy Fee
Since January 1, 2013, importers, manufacturers, and merchants are legally required to pay a home copy fee on certain products, including (refurbished) electronic devices.
This fee is mandated by law and serves as compensation for copyright holders for potential loss of revenue due to private copying of copyrighted material.
Companies
For companies and organizations purchasing refurbished devices for business use, the home copy fee may not apply in all cases. In certain situations, businesses may qualify for an exemption.
